The Idea and a Personal Story
Andy, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, explored real estate investing in 2019 but found it demanded significant time and capital to acquire and manage properties. He also tried REITs, but the limited flexibility did not meet his expectations.
As a former Google engineer, Andy doesn’t settle when there’s no optimal solution—he builds one. From his own bedroom, he launched Share1estate to tackle this challenge, providing people like him with the opportunity to invest in high-quality, professionally managed rental homes through shares.
Today, Share1estate has grown to a team of 60+ talented professionals, serving over 230,000 investors and funding properties worth $23M+ across 10 states—and still expanding. Even now, we continue to build Share1estate with the same passion and drive as Day One.
